Hi there! Let me introduce myself.

My name is Valeria Kasatkina. I was born and raised in Russia, in the city of Voronezh. I moved to California in 2013. Inspired by the beautiful California nature, I became interested in photography and started learning the basics. 

At the beginning of my photographic journey, I was shooting mostly landscapes. Then at some point, I realized that I wanted to move on and develop my skills as a portrait photographer as well. I’ve been learning portrait photography techniques from the top photographers, and have completed a creative artistic retouching course. I’m constantly learning about new trends in photography and photo editing.

As a big nature lover, I like to find harmony and connection between people and nature. That’s why outdoor portrait photography has become my main specialization.  Thanks to the California weather, we can shoot outside all year round! 

I truly believe that every person is beautiful, and my mission as a photographer is to reveal this beauty, individuality, and uniqueness. My individual portrait photo sessions help you open up, gain confidence, love yourself, and look at yourself from a new perspective. 

My family and couples photo sessions are all about the most valuable and precious moments with your loved ones, your connection to each other, and your love for each other.

I’m a super calm and chill person, that’s why all my photoshoots have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You don’t have to worry about posing and ideas: I will help you with those.

- I’m a big music lover: I’m learning to play the piano and love karaoke!

- I can’t live a day without chocolate.

- My favorite coffee is a latte.

- I speak English, Russian, and a little bit of Spanish.

- My favorite color is blue.
